In 1906, Ernst Kundert Sr. founded the company, which subsequently developed over many decades into a leading trading company for accessories for the textile industry. At that time, weaving shuttles, spinning cans, spinning tubes and even bicycle handles and skis were sold.
Over the years, the company developed away from being a pure trading company towards manufacturing its own metallic gear wheels, plastic finished parts and polyurethanes.
Shortly after the start of the new millennium, the focus was placed entirely on the manufacture and processing of plastics and the production of metal gears was sold. This focus has made KUNDERT the leading Swiss supplier of finished plastic parts, semi-finished plastic products and polyurethanes.

KUNDERT Innovation Award
Innovation and creativity are very important at KUNDERT. Many employees contribute their ideas on a daily basis to improve processes, simplify production operations and make the company more efficient. The KUNDERT Innovation Award was created to encourage and appropriately reward this commitment, which goes above and beyond the norm.
In freely selectable groups, employees can document and evaluate innovative ideas and then submit them. A jury then selects the best of the submissions. The winning team receives a bonus for free disposal.
KUNDERT AG has had its own employee app since 2019. News and personnel announcements are published on this app. The app also has a chat function that can be used freely. Holiday photos are also shared on the pinboard, creating a lively exchange of experiences.
