Solar energy
By using the sun, we are making a decisive contribution to reducing our ecological footprint.
At our site in Uznach, panels with a peak output of around 130 kWp have been installed on around 1,000 m2 of roof space. In future, this will produce 120,000 kWh of energy per year, which is roughly equivalent to the annual energy requirements of almost 30 single-family homes or 1,300 full charges of an electric vehicle. For visitors and employees, 3 charging stations for electric cars have also been installed, each with an output of 22 kW, which of course run on the building's own solar power. The surplus energy is fed into the EWU AG energy mix.
