UK-VUL 65 bis 95A (Vulkollan®)

Vulkollan®, made from Desmodur® 15, is one of the most powerful elastomers in the market. It combines maximum mechanical strength with maximum dynamic load-bearing capacity. That is why Vulkollan® is the choice material in many technical areas with the highest requirements. KUNDERT uses the material UK-VUL 65 to 95A.

KUNDERT is a licensed processor of Covestro's products and a contracting partner of Covestro's brands. This framework ensures that the products from Vulkollan® always conform to Covestro's processing guidelines.

Solid Vulkollan® is made in a multi-stage process developed by Covestro based on chemical reactions between the high-quality Vulkollan® polyester polyols, Desmodur® 15 and glycols. Desmodur® 15 is the trade name for naphthalene-1.5-diisocyanate (NDI) from Covestro.

Properties of UK VUL 65-95A:

  • Hardness range from approx. 65 ShA to 95 ShA
  • High dynamic resilience
  • Excellent resistance to mechanical wear
  • High impact elasticity, even at hard settings
  • Excellent tearing and tear resistance
  • Low compression set
  • Can be used from -35°C to + 80°C (also briefly up to + 120°C)
  • Good resistance to mineral oils, greases, petrol and various solvents
  • Good resistance to ozone, UV and high-energy radiation

Particularly noteworthy is Vulkollan®'s high mechanical and dynamic resilience and resistance to deformation.
